This journey combines the sights and sounds of Kathmandu the bustling and colorful capital city with a short trek around the foothills of the Annapurna mountains, with a few days in the town of Pokhara. Ghorepani (2530m) , the ultimate destination of the Annapurna foothill trek was a main pass through which traders with Mules from Mustang and Tibet used to pass through to reach Pokhara. The sunrise on Poon hill with panoramic views of the Annapurna Range is truly breathtaking and an image that will perhaps last a lifetime. Along the trek you will pass a number of village and meet friendly locals who will be more than willing to share their lives with you for a few moments. Thye most interesting of these villages in Ghandruk, a Gurung village from where Gorkhas are recruited in the British and Indian armies. It is situated above Modi Khola (river) at an elevation of 1951 meter and is one of the best-known villages in the Annapurna foothills.

It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two major neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances. There will be a half day guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal Boudhanath, the 15th century Palace of 55 windows and Swayambhunath. After breakfast at the hotel you will be transfer to domestic airport fly to Pokhara. Pokhara is lying 210 km away from Kathmandu, you witness breathtaking and captivating views of 8000 meter peaks. Your Pokhara sightseeing tour includes visits to mesmerizing lakes like Phewa, Mahendra Gupha and Gupteshwor Cave, Binde Basini Temple, Davis Fall and Tibetan refugee camp. Overnight at Hotel.
We start our early drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1050m.) by car and start trek from Nayapul (1050m.) to Tirkhedhunga (1577 m.). via Birethanti (1065m.).The first part of our trek is easy passing through numerous small villages and settlements. Majority of the people in this region are Gurung and follow Buddhism. We could ascend steeply for the early 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, Magar villages. On the way, one could see good view of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.) South. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Local Lodge.
From Tikhedhunga, we take an alternative route back to Pokhara, via Ghorepani. As you skirt through flatland, forests and terraced fields, a suspension bridge comes your way. As you ascend steeply, you pass through dense rhododendron forest to Tadapani which is an ideal vantage point to glimpse heavenly sight of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare. Leaving Tatapani, we trail along terraced fields beneath the splendid panorama of awe-inspiring glaciated Himalayan mountain ranges. On passing a succession of flatlands, forest, cultivated lands and a suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, we arrive at the beautiful village of Ghandruk after walking for 3 to 4 hours. An ideal vantage point in this pristine village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli. Several hotels and teahouses at the village welcome us with warmth and sincere hospitality while catering to the requirements of all trekkers’ who hit the trail through this village. You will take an eye opening flight to Pokhara in the morning. Then you trek to Australian Camp from Ghandrung. It is about 2 hours climb through terraced fields and forest. Spectacular views of snow-capped mountains such as Annapurna ranges, Fish Tail, Manaslu etc. in the north and beautiful valleys in the south are seen from the Australian camp. We descend all the way to Birethanti, a beautiful village on the bank Modi River. After lunch at Brethanti, there is a short level walk to Nayapool where we meet the road. From Nayapool, we drive to Pokhara which takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. You can have the optional sightseeing tour of Gupteswor Cave, Tibetan Refugee camp and walk around colorful Lake Side of Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel.
The Royal Chitwan National Park, established in 1973, provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna. The wildlife and the landscape are not as breathtaking as those found in Africa but still, the experience will stand out. Chitwan is only 150m above the sea level. The place gets steamy from March-June, with peak temperatures reaching 43°C in the shade. Short grass makes Feb-May the best game-viewing season, but the autumn months are gorgeous, with Himalayan views, and in winter (December-January), Chitwan is pleasantly warmed compared to Kathmandu. The monsoon season (July-August) is intense, with pounding rain, swollen rivers, and luxuriant vegetation. While the rain isn't constant, the humidity is all pervasive. Seated high on the back of an elephant, gain a unique viewpoint of the Chitwan jungle. As an experienced mahout tracks animals through the dense jungle growth as you sit back on a howdah, you can imagine yourself being a Rajah or Rani going on a shooting trip (with cameras of course!) in the days of yore. An elephant safari allows you to go places that would be impossible to get to by foot or Jeep and get up close to the wild animals of the jungle that are normally wary, but at home with a fellow creature of the jungle Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
Royal Chitwan National park lies in the tropical Terai region of Chitwan. Royal Chitwan National Park and Devghat are the major attractions of Chitwan. Chitwan houses rich wildlife, lush grasslands and rare species of bird and animals. Chitwan national park is your target destination. It give a unique and exceptional wildlife experience, being the home to several are species, in particular, the one-horned rhinoceros and leopard and also leopard, bear, wild boar, deer, bison, crocodiles etc. You surrender yourself to the pure pleasure of jungle activities. Your safari excursion includes Elephant safari, Wildlife safari, canoeing and bird watching. Unlike African animals, those in Chitwan tend to be rather solitary and shy, but the chancing of sightseeing these are very high owing to the expertise and experiences of guides.
