After a briefing about safe rafting in Nepal from your River guide, you will be all set for your rafting trip down the Trishuli River of grade 3 & 4. After an adventurous rafting in Trishuli, your next destination is Chitwan. Royal Chitwan National Park situated in the tropical Terai region close to the borders with India, houses exotic flora and fauna, rich bird species and rare animals like one-horned Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger. The Royal Chitwan National Park is highly popular among tourists. It is home to some of the rarest animals in the world such as the Great Bengal Tiger and the one horned Rhino .In the National Park you get to enjoy other activities like elephant safari and jeep safari for sightseeing exotic wildlife and diverse ecosystem, canoeing, bird watching and a walk in the wilderness accompanied by a trained guide. A representative and driver from our office will meet and greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel and help you check into your designated hotel. We will arrange a meeting with you at hotel to brief you about your daily activities etc.
The second day of the Kathmandu Chitwan tour will be spent sightseeing in and around Kahtmandu valley. As you kickstart your Kathmandu sightseeing tour after having healthy breakfast, you tread along the most popular exotic locales. Visits to Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath and Pashupatinath temple, a very sacred Hindu pilgrimage site are carefully planned for you. After this religious journey, you advance towards your next destination, Bhaktapur which lies on the Eastern part of Kathmandu valley. You get to visit Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple, fifty-five windowed Malla palace and other historical monuments. This will definitely enlighten you about unique culture of Nepal, tradition, arts and rare craftsmanship. After a delicious lunch, you are transported to Patan lying 5kms away from Kathmandu Valley on the South-East. You grasp a better understanding of Nepal culture upon visiting Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna Temple and Golden Temple. Your Kathmandu tour also includes visit to Swoyambhunath. Stupa of Swoyambhunath epitomizes Buddhism for Buddhist sect. This place offers a majestic view of the entire Kathmandu valley. A sightseeing tour of Kathmandu will not only enlighten you about the ancient culture of this country but also helps you witness the beautiful craftsmanship emblazoned in the ancient artifacts and monuments.
Early in the morning you head off for Charaundi and on your drive, most amazing natural vistas of Himalayan beauty sprawls before you. On reaching the destination, you set for river rafting trip to Kuringhat along the raging waves of river Kali Gandaki. You conclude your whitewater river rafting for the day as you set up your camping site using tents for your overnight stay.
The fourth day of Kathmandu and Chitwan tour is characterized by a rafting trip to Mungling. You savour this day, you continue your rafting trip. While rafting to Muglin, you encounter more irresistible challenges and adventure. At around mid day, you wrap up your whitewater river rafting trip and head off to Royal Chitwan National Park.
This is one of the most exciting sections of this Kathmandu and Chitwan tour. Royal Chitwan National park lies in the tropical Terai region of Chitwan. Royal Chitwan National Park and Devghat are the major attractions of Chitwan. Chitwan houses rich wildlife, lush grasslands and rare species of bird and animals. Chitwan national park is your target destination. It give a unique and exceptional wildlife experience, being the home to several are species, in particular, the one-horned rhinoceros and leopard and also leopard, bear, wild boar, deer, bison, crocodiles etc. You surrender yourself to the pure pleasure of jungle activities. Your safari excursion includes Elephant safari, Wildlife safari, jeep safari, canoeing and bird watching. Unlike African animals, those in Chitwan tend to be rather solitary and shy, but the chancing of sightseeing these are very high owing to the expertise and experiences of guides. Chitwan National Park is quite rich in bio diversity and is a must go for any traveler who is on a visit to Nepal.
On the 6th day of the Kathmandu and Chitwan tour, you will be transferred to Kathmandu. After you have your share of wildlife experience, you return to Kathmandu. You can spend your time doing whatever activities you feel like.
Our drive and airport representative will drive you to the airport in time for your flight back home. We ensure that that you leave Kathmandu with cherishing memory and an experience of a lifetime.
