Your Kathmandu - Nagarkot tour starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. A representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel. At the hotel you will be briefed about your daily activities.
Am: Sightseeing of Patan and Swoyambhunath Pm: Sightseeing of Boudhanath, Pashupatinath & Bhaktapur Evening: Transfer to Nagarkot The second day of Kathmandu Nagarkot tour is mainly spent sightseeing around places like Patan, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur. After a delicious breakfast, you set off for Swoyambhunath. This place offers a majestic view of the entire Kathmandu Valley. The Stupa of Swoyambhunath epitomizes Buddhism. Your guide will enlighten you with detailed historical and cultural information about the place. After this religious journey, you will be guided along the interesting places around Patan like Patan Durbar Square, Mahabouddha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, etc. After relishing a delicious lunch, you will be taken to Boudhanath and Pashupatinath Temple. Thereafter, your next destination is Bhaktapur, where you will witness unique culture and finest display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal which has remained untouched by western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapol Temple and fifty-five windowed Malla Palace are the living prides of Bhaktapur and you will tour around all these places. In the evening, you will head towards Nagarkot. On your way to Nagarkot, you get breathtaking panoramic Himalayan views of Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Gauri Shankar, which will get you completely smitten. Nagarkot accommodates finest of resorts, hotels, restaurants and cafes. You will spend your night at one of the best resort or hotel in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is most popular for its magnificent sunset and sunrise views, along with its lovely weather.
Am: Transfer to Kathmandu and Touring around Kathmandu Durbar Square and Temple of Kumari, the Living Goddess Pm: Free On the third day of Kathmandu Nagarkot tour, you will be transferred early in the morning to Kathmandu from where your sightseeing continues. After basking in the fabulous sunrise view in Nagarkot, you return to Kathmandu. Thereafter, you resume your sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Kumari Temple. Kumari is the Living Virgin Goddess of Hindu religion. Kumari temple is situated inside the Basantapur Durbar, built by King Jaya Prakash Malla, near Hanuman Dhoka. Kumari is chosen from a Newari Shakya family after meeting up with all the criteria. On your leisure time after your trip, you can indulge in any kind of activities of your choice.
Our Nepalese support team will take you to the airport after you complete your Kathmandu and Nagarkot tour. for your flight home. On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer, you can go for short tours such as game drive at National parks, rafting, Muktinath Pilgrimage tour, etc. - ask us.
