We begin our cultural journey in the hustle and bustle of colorful Kathmandu before taking a spectacular flight across the Himalayan range, passing Mount Everest, to the fabled city of Lhasa. Here we explore the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, and take the time to shop for Tibetan artefacts or visit the Norbulingka Summer Palace.

We return to Kathmandu and then fly to the lakeside town of Pokhara from where we head into the foothills and enjoy a few days relaxing at our luxury lodge located in the shadow of the the Annapurna Range. Our journey continues with a superb safari at Chitwan National Park in southern Nepal, where we ride on elephant back in search of the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger and the One-Horned Rhinoceros.

It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two major neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances. There will be a half day guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal Boudhanath, the 15th century Palace of 55 windows and Swayambhunath. After breakfast, take one hour drive to Nayapul. After you reach Nayapul, you will start your trekking slowly. After 20-minutes walking along the Modi stream, you will reach at Birethanti - a beautiful village that has plenty of tea shops and guest houses. Then follow the left route through the village. Your trek continue heading to Ulleri following the bank of the Burungdi stream. You will climb slightly up to the valley of Hile and Tikhedhunga (1525m). The trail leads steep up to Ulleri, a large beautiful Magar village. Ulleri is stopping point for today. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.
After breakfast you start your walking. Today the trail leads you to the Ghorepani, one of the popular destinations of Annapurna region situated at an altitude of 2856 meters. You should gently ascend up to Banthanti (2250m) through Oak and rhododendron forest. Then continue trek towards Ghorepani through Nangeythanti (2460m). Today you will walk approximately 5 hours. Early in the morning climb up to Poon Hill to see the panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalayan ranges as well as exciting sunrise view over the Himalayas. After experiencing the great views of Himalayan panorama from Poon Hill, you descend to Ghorepani. After breakfast, continue downhill trek to Tadapani. Today the trail descends south of Ghandruk village. At the bottom of Ghandruk you can see traditional grindstone in small stream. The trail forks end of village take left hand down trail with paved stone staircases. The trail steep descend to Modi Khola through the small settlement terrace field rice paddy. Cross the iron bridge over the Modi Khola which is flowing from Annapurna Base camp. After crossing the bridge the trail steep ascend with stone staircase. After half an hour hard walking you reach to Landrung Village. Landrung is a big Gurung Village from here you see the view of Mt. Annapurna South and Mt. Himchuli. Wake up with sunrise in massive Annapurna south (7219m) and Himchili (6444m). One hour contour the valley. You will pass the large settlement and terraced fields and typical thatch houses. You will cross the Tigu Khola on a suspension bridge below the Tolkha. The trail 15m steep ascends to Tolkha village. The trail gradually ups and to the Beri Kharka. From Beri Kharka 50m ascends to Deurali (2100m). If clear day you can see Pokhara valley from here. Have a lunch here. From here two hours panoramic views walking to the Dhampus. Morning splendid view of Ananpurna range and Mansalu himal with sunrise. Enjoy the last day of walking. First half an hour easy and scenic walking overlooking the Pokhara valley and Phewa Lake. From the top the trail steep descends stone staircase through the rhododendron and pine forest through the small settlement with terraces field of rice paddy. The trail steep descends bending trail through the tropical forest to Phedi. From Phedi drive half an hour to Pokhara. Check in hotel at the Pokhara. Have a rest at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel
After early breakfast at Hotel, you will be driven 3-4 hours to the raft put-in point at Malekhu. Abiding the guidelines provided by a river guide, you will raft down to Majimtar for about 4 hour with a short lunch break. Finally, you conclude the trip by setting a camp on the River bank. You continue drifting along the rapids of Trishuli River to Mugling Bazaar. After finishing rafting, you will drive to Chitwan. The Royal Chitwan National Park, established in 1973, provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna. The wildlife and the landscape are not as breathtaking as those found in Africa but still, the experience will stand out. Chitwan is only 150m above the sea level. The place gets steamy from March-June, with peak temperatures reaching 43°C in the shade. Short grass makes Feb-May the best game-viewing season, but the autumn months are gorgeous, with Himalayan views, and in winter (December-January), Chitwan is pleasantly warmed compared to Kathmandu. The monsoon season (July-August) is intense, with pounding rain, swollen rivers, and luxuriant vegetation. While the rain isn't constant, the humidity is all pervasive. Seated high on the back of an elephant, gain a unique viewpoint of the Chitwan jungle. As an experienced mahout tracks animals through the dense jungle growth as you sit back on a howdah, you can imagine yourself being a Rajah or Rani going on a shooting trip (with cameras of course!) in the days of yore. An elephant safari allows you to go places that would be impossible to get to by foot or Jeep and get up close to the wild animals of the jungle that are normally wary, but at home with a fellow creature of the jungle Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
Royal Chitwan National park lies in the tropical Terai region of Chitwan. Royal Chitwan National Park and Devghat are the major attractions of Chitwan. Chitwan houses rich wildlife, lush grasslands and rare species of bird and animals. Chitwan national park is your target destination. It give a unique and exceptional wildlife experience, being the home to several are species, in particular, the one-horned rhinoceros and leopard and also leopard, bear, wild boar, deer, bison, crocodiles etc. You surrender yourself to the pure pleasure of jungle activities. Your safari excursion includes Elephant safari, Wildlife safari, canoeing and bird watching. Unlike African animals, those in Chitwan tend to be rather solitary and shy, but the chancing of sightseeing these are very high owing to the expertise and experiences of guides. After breakfast at the Lodge we drive back to Kathmandu. After reach in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel at Kathmandu. Have a rest. In evening you can stroll around Thamel, the major tourist destination of Kathmandu. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives. Overnight at Hotel.
